Everyday Health Group Pregnancy and Parenting (EHG P&P) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Business Development to lead and oversee all sales and revenue-generating activities for our growing clinical studies recruitment business. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic and results-driven revenue leader with a strong understanding of digital media and the clinical studies landscape. Reporting to the VP Business Strategy, this role will involve both individual contributions and leadership responsibilities, acting as a "player/coach" to drive revenue growth, craft strategic go-to-market plans, and build enduring client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Take ownership of revenue goals, including meeting and exceeding the 7-figure sales target for digital patient recruitment solutions.
2. Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent deal flow and revenue growth.
3. Oversee revenue forecasting, tracking performance against targets and identifying areas for improvement.
4. Partner with team leadership to define and implement short-and-long-term growth strategies.
5. Lead and implement the sales strategy, packaging, pricing, trade, and go-to-market plans for the Clinical Studies recruitment business line.
6. Lead efforts to establish and grow relationships with key stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, contract research organizations (CROs), academic institutions, and patient recruitment organizations.
7. Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and develop tailored media plans and digital solutions that drive successful recruitment outcomes.
8. Create and present compelling client presentations to effectively sell digital patient recruitment solutions that are based on user insights and deliver on client goals.
9. Lead quarterly business reviews with clients to assess performance, align on goals, and identify opportunities for future growth.
10. Partner with internal teams (partnerships, account management, planning, marketing, etc.) to ensure seamless execution and delivery of client programs.
11. Motivate and guide internal stakeholders to think creatively about new product offerings to meet client needs and drive revenue growth.
12. Collaborate with legal teams to review and finalize Statements of Work (SOWs), contracts, and other client agreements, ensuring compliance and alignment with business objectives.
13. Supervise and mentor the Account Executive, Patient Recruitment, fostering a high-performance sales culture.

Job Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree.
2. 7+ years of experience in digital media sales, business development, or healthcare solutions, with a proven track record of driving revenue and managing client relationships.
3. Experience leading sales strategy and delivering significant revenue growth in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong understanding of clinical trial recruitment processes and the digital tools that support patient recruitment.
5. Strong understanding of the digital media business, including ad products, pricing models (e.g., CPM, CPA), and their role in driving results.
6. Exceptional sales and negotiation skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
7. Strategic thinker with the ability to craft and implement effective go-to-market strategies.
8. Strong presentation and communication skills, capable of engaging and persuading audiences of all levels.
9. Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with a proven ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
