Direct Support Professionals (DSP) are professionals who work directly with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, with the aim of assisting the individual to become integrated into their community or the least restrictive environment.

Royal Community Support is looking for a self-motivated, energetic Direct Support Professional to support a two Male individuals who lives in New Brunswick, NJ. DSP must be comfortable with community base support.

Earl & Ashton are seeeking a DSP in the morning that can assist with going out to the community do activities they enjoy such as bowling, movies, shopping, going to the library. Earl is behavioral so a DSP with behavioral experience is a must.

SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday 

Earl:  9:00 am -12:00 pm

Ashton:  12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

30 hours a week

Qualifications:

Must be able to recognize that disability is a label and not a description

Staff need to be open-minded and come with a positive attitude

Must be 18 years old or older

Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent

Must have a car

Must have valid driver's license and good driving record

Must be willing to have a background check

Must be willing to take a drug screening

Must be authorized to legally work in the United States

Starting Pay Rate:

$22+ per hour

Job Types:  Part-time

Salary: $23.00 & 25.00 per hour
