About Us:
ACR Homes provides high-quality home healthcare and support for individuals with disabilities across over 40 locations in the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul area. We are looking for dedicated Direct Care Professionals (DCPs) for both full-time and part-time positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Medication Management: Prepare and administer medications (training provided and paid).
- Personal Care: Assist with meals, personal hygiene, and use of medical equipment (training provided).
- Therapies: Perform range-of-motion exercises and other therapeutic activities.
- Activity Planning: Organize and participate in fun activities.
- Advocacy: Support clients during doctor appointments.
- Relationship Building: Foster positive connections with clients and coworkers.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete necessary documentation and reports.
- Transportation: Take residents on daily outings (parks, coffeeshop, etc.)
Pay Rates:
- Full-Time DCPs: $18.25 - $24.75 per hour
- $18.25-$20.25/hour for day and evening shifts **
- $20.50-$22.50/hour for weekend shifts **
- $20.50-$22.50/hour for weekday awake overnight shifts **
$22.75-$24.75/hour for weekend awake overnight shifts (Friday & Saturday) **
Full-Time Initial Training pay is $16.25/hour
** Range listed above is due to $.50-$2.00/hour House Specific Rate Exception Differentials at specific homes, if applicable.
Part-Time DCPs: $16.00 - $22.50
$16.00-$18.00/hour for day and evening shifts **
$18.25-$20.25/hour for weekend shifts **
$18.25-$20.25/hour for weekday awake overnight shifts **
$20.50-$22.50/hour for weekend awake overnight shifts (Friday & Saturday) **
Part-Time Initial Training pay is $14.00/hour
** Range listed above is due to $.50-$2.00/hour House Specific Rate Exception Differentials at specific homes, if applicable.
Hiring Bonuses: $1,250 for full-time overnight positions and $500 for part-time overnight positions.

Requirements:
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You must have a driver’s license and a relatively clean driving record
- You must be able and willing to provide care for both male and female clients
- You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- You must be able to work independently, and you must have interpersonal skills including empathy, responsibility, self-control, good judgment, and overall adjustment
- You must be able to see, hear, speak, interact, and write in English sufficiently to perform the essential functions of the position
- Part-time requires a minimum of 10 shifts/month (2-3 shifts/week) with an increasing number of homes only requiring 2 shifts/week.
- Full-time employees must work at least 38-40 hours per week
