Dining Facility Manager - Ladgov Corporation

Job Type: Full-Time

Oversee all daily operations of the dining facility, ensuring compliance with Air Force and federal sanitation and safety regulations.
Supervise and manage staff, including mess attendants and support personnel, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and professionally.
Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during all meal periods, including weekends.
Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, kitchen equipment, and other materials, ensuring timely re-stocking to prevent operational delays.
Ensure proper sanitation practices in all areas, including tableware, kitchen equipment, and dining areas, following AFI 48-116 and FDA Food Code standards.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and timeliness in meal preparation and service.
Address and resolve customer complaints or requests promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Conduct regular inspections to verify adherence to cleanliness, safety, and operational standards.
Manage budgets effectively, ensuring cost control without compromising service quality or facility operations.
Provide training to staff on safety procedures, proper equipment handling, and hygiene requirements.

High school diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in food service or dining facility management, preferably in a military or institutional environment.
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and operational standards for dining facilities.
Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with staff and patrons.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Familiarity with federal and Air Force regulations, including AFI 48-116 Food Safety Program.
