- The Digital Planner will manage the demands of a cross-functional, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment within the digital group.
- She/he partners with internal teams to successfully translate the business strategy to the ecommerce channel, satisfying the financial, technological, and operational demands of the business.
- The Digital Planner should be results-oriented, highly motivated Product Merchandiser to create, implement and manage the life cycle of online product assortments across multiple brand stores.
- This position is responsible for working with internal and external stakeholders, the successful candidate will draw on their extensive assortment and promotional planning experience B2C ecommerce, robust analytical acumen, and excellent communication skills to plan and manage online assortments, seasonal promotional campaigns and product launches.
- The Digital Planner is responsible for product, pricing and promotional activity on eCommerce sites to achieve online activations & revenue goals and implementation of online lifecycle management and promotional strategy to achieve company goals.
- Lead assortment planning and life cycle management of all online brands.
- This includes managing item level forecasts of over 1K items, handset assortment by tier (Tier 1-2-3), handset pricing for regular, promotional and clearance sales, MDF implementation to support OEM campaigns and handset transitions by season (lifecycle management).
- Deep working knowledge of category management concepts including Weeks of Supply, Inventory Turn, and EOL Liquidation.
- Promotions planning: forecast and implement digital promotions
- Analyzes all sales and activation results (current and historical) to continually refine and enhance the go-to-market sales strategy to meet and exceed performance goals.
- Curate and organize digital product assortment to maximize customer engagement and sales.
- Monitor inventory: Review current inventory and identify overstock/out of stock items
- Predict future needs at the item level: Use sales data and business trends to predict future customer behaviors
- Manage the order process through to delivery, identifying and resolving backorder/potential shortages
- Manage scorecard and promotional performance for strategic decisions to improve customer journey and business results.
- Manage pre/post customer journey from point of purchase to total activation and GAs.
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Five or more years of planning and merchandising (retail or ecommerce).
- One to three years experience in promotional planning and analytics.
- One to three years experience in new product development and lifecycle management.
- Experience in roles requiring data analysis, process improvements, creative problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong ecommerce background
- Demonstrated experience using data and metrics to measure performance and determine improvements.
