Tiff's Treats, an Austin-based cookie delivery company, is poised for explosive growth over the next few years. Since the summer of 2015, we’ve raised $50 million for our expansion, and we are now at 37 stores and growing quickly! We are looking for a Digital Marketing Director, a critical new role at Tiff’s, reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing. This key role will help develop digital tools and effectively deploy media to attract and retain customers.
A successful candidate will be independent, self-motivated/scrappy and be recognized as a technical expert in their area, with a penchant for action. This position also requires someone who is highly analytical and technologically savvy.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key contact for anything digital - marketing, analytics, and programs (If it’s digital, it’s on you)
- Lead the creation of marketing technology initiatives (like features for online ordering, directory listings, apps) by identifying needs, evaluating options, bringing together UX and IT teams for deployment, and measuring success. Create.
- Create, manage, and regularly present a marketing dashboard that translates data into action-based insights (You’ll help us keep a pulse on what matters)
- Own the digital marketing advertising budget (Spend it wisely to acquire revenue as efficiently as possible)
- Review new technologies and emerging trends to keep the company at the forefront of digital marketing - always be learning and teaching
Required Skills and Attributes:
- Very comfortable with web analytics implementation and usage
- Balance of creative ideation, strategy, execution and measurement
- Thirsty for knowledge, continually studying digital marketing best practices
- Independent, self-motivated and scrappy. You don’t wait to be told what to do, you clear roadblocks with thoughtful finesse.
- You’re recognized as a technical expert in your area. You might not give a bunch of speeches, but you definitely know your stuff.
- Highly analytical. You quickly recognize patterns and pull signal from noise.
- Technologically savvy. Tags, Test setup, SEO, Targeting, CSS, Load times? You know enough to be effective and give good specific direction to IT.
Requirements/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BS) from a four-year college or university in Marketing, Business, Accounting, Statistics or related discipline
- At least 4+ years of related experience in digital marketing
- Demonstrated experience working with several of: marketing automation, AB testing, landing page development, e-commerce, social listening, mobile marketing, web analytics, SEO, PPC, targeted Facebook and Instagram campaigns
- Experience managing a digital marketing budget to acquire customers
- Exceptional skills with Excel and/or data manipulation tools
- Digital marketing or web analytics certifications are a plus
- Experience working with email marketing software (especially Responsys) is a plus
