Position Summary:
The Digital Display Specialist role will support the day-to-day management of digital signs and displays throughout the venue and the venue's two freeway marquees. This position will assist with programming, content editing, deployment, and ensure functionality and operation of all Digital Media Players, including TVs and digital LED site signage.
Essential Functions:
- Liase with internal teams like Global Partnerships and Marketing to successfully deliver partner and venue/team content to freeway marquees. Administer content uploads and communicate best practices for the freeway LED displays through digital signage software.
- Coordinate with the Marketing Department to ensure all assets are being tracked and scheduled as agreed upon. Generate biweekly/monthly report logs to provide share of voice auditing for marketing and corporate partnership assets per contractual obligations.
- Assist with IPTV Digital Signage, AV systems, and related technology in venue and office environments. Coordinate programming, content scheduling, and zone/group for events, during office hours, and other non-game events.
- Aids the IT Department to resolve network problems and support the IPTV and digital display infrastructures.
- Supports the Broadcast Manager to provide a high standard AV presentation of the facility and help with specialized projects as needed.
- Act as a technical resource with event presentation content upload.
- Under the direction of management follows procedures, checklists, or systems to streamline workflow and ensure consistent operation.
- Responsible for upkeep and first point of contact to all digital display hardware, software, updates/firmware within venue. Follow warranty procedures for return of equipment and renewal of appropriate software licensing as needed.
- Perform game day setup and verification of content for AV systems. Work closely with event presentation and part-time game day staff to ensure all digital display equipment is tested, working, and scheduled properly
- Stay up to date with software/hardware technology to ensure venue maintains the highest standards. Assist with AV and IPTV projects additions and installations
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree (4-year) Related Field
- 2-4 years: Work experience in AV implementation and proficient knowledge of live event production in a sports environment preferred
- Knowledge of IPTV systems, Blonder Tongue encoders and digital signage processors/players.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, etc.) .
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to design content preferred
- Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work effectively in a team (both with internal and external stakeholders).
- Be able to read and understand technical materials/manuals
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); and ability to learn required business systems.
- Flexible in working hours including nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.
- Works well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Scale: $22.49 - $32.80
