Dietary Aide - Western Slope Health Center

Job Description:
Western Slope Health Care Center is looking for a highly motivated and reliable Dietary Aide to join our team. This full-time position is ideal for an individual with great communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional food service to our patients. As a Dietary Aide, you will assist in meal preparation, delivery, and ensuring a positive dining experience for those under our care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and delivery of meals according to specific dietary requirements.
• Ensure that patient meal plans and dietary restrictions are followed accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Set up and serve meals for patients, ensuring a pleasant and timely dining experience.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff regarding dietary needs and preferences.
• Help with inventory management and report any shortages to management.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
• Prior experience in a dietary or food service role is preferred but not required.
• Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to providing excellent care.
• Willingness to follow instructions and assist with meal preparation and delivery.
