Opportunity Highlights

- This position is located in Meriden, CT., and you will be working in an indoor/outdoor environment with a small team.
- This position is a standard first shift role, working from 8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday.

The Opportunity
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, tankers, and other various types of commercial vehicles.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Perform annual/FHWA inspections on commercial vehicles
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, as well as assisting other mechanics on various assigned tasks
- Utilize computers for diagnostics, and various computer software systems
- Accurately completing all task related paperwork
- Must be able to follow directions
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- A High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 + years of experience with heavy duty trucks and equipment
- Must be proficient with Microsoft suite products
- Able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of the DOT regulations
- ASE certification desirable, not mandatory
- Must have your own tools
- Physically able to lift 60lbs
- Ability to work the schedule for which you are hired for
- Ability to work on-site as described in the job description
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
