Maximus is currently looking for Diagnostic Report Tracking Specialists to join the Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team in Houston, TX. The Diagnostic Report Tracking Specialist is responsible for following up on diagnostic results for VHA/VBA cases daily, following up on results requested by QA or the managers, and investigating No Shows for diagnostic appointments.
Diagnostic Report Tracking Specialists supporting the Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) administered by Maximus, make an impact everyday by following up on diagnostic results for VHA/VBA cases daily; following up on results requested by QA or the managers and investigating No Shows for diagnostic appointments. To prepare you for this role, the VES provides paid, comprehensive training which ensures all new employees provide the highest levels of knowledge and professionalism.
Job Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Investigate on diagnostics over 48 hours late;
- Review diagnostic reports matching in OMS;
- Leave comments for each call made or follow up with Facility;
- Call Veteran to verify if they completed their test. If Facility says they have not done so then also to confirm correct Name and DOB;
- Receive diagnostic mail
- Confirm diagnostic is uploaded in OMS;
- Manage Facility online web portals for diagnostic reports;
- Faxes ROI forms per Facility request to their medical records department;
- Follow up QA request for late Diagnostic reports
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pull reports from Facility portal and send to uploader;
- Respond to voicemails and emails within 24 hours;
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- High levels of organization, time management, job prioritization, multi- tasking and interpersonal skills necessary to provide effective work atmosphere and to develop as well as to maintain a productive working relationship with staff members, veterans, physicians and VA;
- Effective and concise communication skills necessary to provide information in a courteous and comprehensive fashion (oral and written) with the goal of positive resolution(s);
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point;
- Advanced multi- tasking skills;
- Knowledge of medical terminology;
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required;
- Some College preferred.

Requirements

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
