Detailer (part time/seasonal until April 15) - TopSide Marinas

No experience required – our team will train the right candidate! Tools provided.

Reports to: Fiberglass Manager

The Detailer I’s responsibility is to perform the duties below on a regular basis and meet customer satisfaction standards as well as company sales and safety requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Assess the condition of gel coat/paint and recommend proper maintenance protocol
2. Wash, buff, and wax deck and hull
3. Apply bottom paint to sail and power boats
4. Possess knowledge of proper operation of hand and hand-held air/electric tools and apply to work
5. Follow all procedures pertaining to safety and personal protection equipment
6. Ensure quality of work performed

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• Act with the highest level of integrity and maintain a positive attitude
• Ability to speak and read English to follow instructions on work orders as well as understand product and manual instructions
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job
• Must be able to complete assigned work in an efficient and timely manner
• Strong work ethic and personal commitment
• Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team, department, and company goals
• Ability to be a self-starter and work independently.
• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work
