Our client has a new opportunity for a qualified Desktop Support Technician II to join their team onsite in Jacksonville, FL. This technician will monitor and respond quickly to incoming requests related to IT issues. This role includes on call responsibilities. This technician will be oncall one week in every 4 weeks. Hours will vary on the week this technician is oncall, and the working hours will be 6AM to 2:30PM on weeks not oncall.

Our client has a new opportunity for a qualified Desktop Support Technician II to join their team onsite in Jacksonville, FL. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for PCs, printers, servers, and related equipment (monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, etc.)
- Install, configure, and upgrade PC software
- Maintain computer systems, including upgrades and configuration as needed, and act as support if any system goes down
- Assist with onboarding of new users
- Keep inventory of all equipment, software, and license users
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 to 5+ years of help desk / service desk experience in the field or related area
- May require an Associate Degree in a related area
- A+ certification will be preferred
- Knowledge of commonly used tech support concepts, practices, and procedures
- Windows 10 experience
- CompTIA A+ and / or MCSA certification a plus
- Strong customer service skills required
- Experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
