Senior Landscape Architect / Design Director

Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 base salary, plus bonus opportunities

Job Overview

The Senior Landscape Architect / Design Director will lead the design of high-end residential landscape projects ranging from $300,000 to $2 million. This key role involves developing creative concepts, mentoring junior team members, managing project workflows, and maintaining strong client relationships. The position offers the potential for equity and long-term leadership within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage high-end residential landscape projects, overseeing a portfolio of $3M–$5M annually.
• Develop innovative concepts using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering creativity and quality.
• Collaborate with subcontractors for installations and ensure project schedules and budgets are met.
• Coordinate with sales and operations teams to streamline workflows.
• Maintain exceptional client relationships and upsell additional services to enhance revenue.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in high-end residential landscape design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing innovative, high-quality designs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and mentor junior staff.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary: $80,000–$100,000+, plus bonus opportunities.
