We are seeking a skilled Design Project Engineer to lead our design team in delivering high-quality engineering solutions for various municipal construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing project design, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing project timelines and budgets.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design process for municipal construction projects (water, land development, roads, utilities, etc.) from concept to completion.
- Collaborate with architects, planners, and other engineers to develop innovative design solutions.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform project design.
- Prepare and review construction documents and specifications to ensure project quality.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet client expectations and deadlines.
- Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders during the construction phase to address design-related issues.
- Utilize Civil3D software for design and drafting purposes.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Experience in land development design.
- Experience in construction management and project management.
- Strong understanding of municipal construction and land development processes.
- Proficiency in Civil3D and other design software.
