Design Engineer - PrideStaff

We are looking to hire a Design Engineer in Durham, CT .

Design Engineer Pay: $70,000-$85,000/yr

Design Engineer Hours: 6:00am - 3:30pm Monday-Friday

Design Engineer Summary:

Directs and coordinates activities of the plant to obtain optimum and economy of operations and maximizes profits. Plans, develops, and implements organization policies and goals, coordinates activities of divisions or departments

Design Engineer Duties and responsibilities:

• Maintain process sheets, process drawings
• Support the shop floor. Provide cause corrective action to open issues.
• Read & understand necessary quality & manufacturing specifications.
• Work in engineering department and closely with production, sales, and quality
• Make Solid Works models and PDF drawings
• Draw machined parts
• Mastercam programming

Design Engineer Qualifications:

• Hands on problem solver. Enjoys shop floor interaction.
• Previous machine shop experience
• Experience in tolerance stack-ups, GD&T, Statistical Measurements
• Experience drawing machined part
• 2+ years of experience working with Mastercam and/or Solidworks
• Tool making and tool design experience is a huge plus!
