Dental Hygienist at Princess Dental Staffing

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our private practice office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting good oral health practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 

PPO and fee for service office. 

Part time position with a set schedule of 16-32 hours a week.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth,
• Advocating for fluoride varnish, silver diamine fluoride, sealants as preventative care
• Use Rinn system to take FMX and recall radiographs
• Comfortable using a portable x-ray unit (i.e. nomad)
• Perform co-diagnosis by educating and showing patients intraoral photos of problem teeth
• Review and maintain accurate documentation of patient records in Dentrix
• Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to ensure seamless patient care.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with dentrix
• Experience with medical imaging techniques and maintaining medical records will be considered a plus.
