Gentle Dental is hiring a Dental Hygienist for our office located in Springfield, PA 19064. This is a full-time or part-time position. Scheduled days/hour is Mon - Thurs (8:45-5:00) & Fri (8:45-2:00).

Gentle Dental is a well established, successful, practice, providing exceptional dental care to our community for many years. Our office has some of the latest technology including digital x-rays, Itero Scanners, digital charting and we'll be adding Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), in the near future!
Previous experience working as a hygienist is always a plus, but we also encourage new hygiene grads just starting their careers to apply. The hygienist we hire must have an active hygiene license for the state of PA. New hygiene grads must be applying for license soon.
Responsibilities:
- Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times
- Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.
- Patient screening, medical history and dental charting.
- Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.
- Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Other duties as assigned
- Active Hygiene license for the state of Pennsylvania
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
