Dental Hygienist

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is assisting our client, a network of community dental office clinics, in their search for a Dental Hygienist. This is a full-time, permanent position with a Monday-Friday schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality preventative and therapeutic dental hygiene care to patients
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative dental care
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Assist the dentist with dental procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Sterilize instruments and equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Attend continuing education meetings at the dental center when scheduled

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited school
• Valid Massachusetts license to practice as a Dental Hygienist
• Current CPR certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
