NeighborHealth is looking for a motivated and compassionate Dental Assistant to become an integral part of our team. In this pivotal role, you will support our skilled dental professionals, help deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to a seamless and efficient dental practice. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct Patient Care and Support: Assist in patient care activities as directed by a dentist, including preparation of charts, equipment, and x-rays, and take appropriate x-rays as needed.
- Efficient Workflow Management: Facilitate patient flow, manage appointments, and maintain an organized work area to ensure smooth operations
- Infection Control and Equipment Maintenance: Follow infection control procedures for sterilization and equipment handling and report any safety or equipment issues.
- Effective Communication and Customer Service: Interact professional with patients of all ages, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive attitude.
- Administrative and Clerical Duties: Update supply inventory, navigate dental software, and complete necessary paperwork.
- Compliance and Teamwork: Adhere to departmental policies, participate in required activities, and demonstrate teamwork and self-direction in problem-solving.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with both internal and external customers.
- Language: Bilingual preferred

Pay:
- Pay: Starts at $19.96 up to $32.93 depending on experience
Schedule:
Mon-Fri 8 - 5 with evening, weekend, and holiday rotations.
