Delivery Driver - Vivid Impact

Shift Details:

• 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
• Hours may adjust based on demand and business conditions.

Job Purpose:

The Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of goods to customers on specific routes, performing safe operation of delivery vehicles, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks, supporting warehousing operations, and providing exceptional customer service to our client base.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of the vehicle before departing to deliver goods.
• Pack and load products onto trucks according to the company's specifications.
• Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the route dispatcher.
• Unload goods as per client specifications.
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs.
• Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a delivery driver, specifically with commercial vehicles such as sprinter vans and box trucks.
• Positive "can-do" customer focus and attitude.
• Reliable regarding on-time attendance.
• Flexible attitude and the ability to take direction well.
• Ability to work at a quick and efficient pace.
• Willingness to work flexible hours on short notice.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written or oral instructions.
• Ability to regularly carry loads of 35 lbs.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Card (preferred, but not required at the time of hire).
• Ability to pass a company driving test.
• Must represent the company with a high degree of professionalism and a positive attitude.
