Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in defense litigation cases, including transportation, workers' compensation, and premises liability.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Manage all phases of litigation from inception through trial, including discovery, depositions, and court appearances.
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients and develop effective defense strategies.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Juris Doctor JD degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the Georgia State Bar.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in defense litigation.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
- Experience in transportation, workers' compensation, and premises liability is highly preferred.
