Marathon TS is seeking a Declassification Analyst to support a client in the Schenectady, NY area. This position is full time onsite.
A day in the life of a Declassification Analyst:
As a declassification analyst supporting the Naval Nuclear Propulsions Program, you will be expected to review technical program records in accordance with Executive Order 13526, as amended.
This job is for you if you:
If you have excellent reading and comprehension skills, evaluate technical manuals and drawings, understand records management, work in a team environment, and have over four years of experience working in the declassification or records management areas.
The ideal candidate will have previously served as a declassification analyst and have experience or knowledge of nuclear propulsion.

As a declassification analyst supporting the Naval Nuclear Propulsions Program, you will be expected to review technical program records in accordance with Executive Order 13526, as amended.

If you have excellent reading and comprehension skills, evaluate technical manuals and drawings, understand records management, work in a team environment, and have over four years of experience working in the declassification or records management areas.
The ideal candidate will have previously served as a declassification analyst and have experience or knowledge of nuclear propulsion.
What we are expecting from you (i.e. the qualifications you must have):
- 2-4 Years' experience
- Recognize Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program information.
- On site representative will be trained and skilled in applications as defined in this SOW.
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years related experience. Additional years of experience may be substituted for education.
- Completion of specialized training in E.O. 13526 requirements, the declassification analysis process, use of classification guides, recognition of NNPP equities, and proper disposition of documents reviewed.
- Completion of training by Department of Energy and be certified as Historical Records Reviewers for the purpose of identifying Restricted Data and Formerly Restricted Data in documents under review.
- Must be able to recognize equities from other agencies and make proper referrals of documents to those agencies.
- All on-site representatives are required to hold current United States of America citizenship. Must be able to maintain a Top Secret and obtain a DOE 'Q' clearance for the position.
- Experience with EO 13526, FOIA/PA, DOD records management and/or declassification are a plus.
