We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Database Administrator for a remote contract position with a healthcare client. This role requires a minimum Public Trust Clearance.

Job Summary:
Database Management: Administer SQL Server databases, ensuring data integrity, availability, and security.
Data Integration: Design, develop, and deploy SSIS packages to automate data integration processes.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize SQL queries for improved performance.
Backup and Recovery: Implement and maintain backup and recovery procedures to minimize downtime.
Collaboration: Work with development teams to design database solutions that meet business needs.
Proactive Monitoring: Use database monitoring tools to identify and resolve performance issues.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations and procedures.
Technical Support: Provide support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.
ServiceNow Management: Manage database-related tickets, incidents, and change requests using the ServiceNow platform.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and best practices to enhance database performance and security.
Job Requirements:
Public Trust Clearance: Minimum requirement.
Education: Bachelor's Degree.
Experience: Proven experience as a Database Administrator with expertise in SQL Server.
SSIS Packages: Experience in deploying SSIS packages for data integration.
Monitoring Tools: Proficiency in tools such as SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Profiler.
ServiceNow: Familiarity with managing IT service processes via the ServiceNow platform.
Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or similar.
