RESPONSIBILITIES :
Job Information
We are seeking a highly experienced Data Governance Lead, to drive our data management and governance maturity program at CSS. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the Data Management Life Cycle, DCAM based Data Governance practices. The ideal candidate with come with hands-on, direct experience of Data Governance related processes/capabilities implementation in eGRC tools such as Collibra, Purview, IBM Open Pages. This is a great opportunity for a professional with expertise and passion for data governance to lead enterprise-wide initiatives and drive data management and data governance excellence across the organization.
Key Job Functions
- Data Governance Frameworks:
- Design and implement data governance frameworks, focusing on data cataloging, lineage, and compliance.
- Utilize Collibra, Purview and other eGRC tools to manage and enforce integrated Data/Records governance policies.
- Tool Implementation and Management:
- Oversee the deployment and ongoing management of data governance tools, particularly Collibra.
- Ensure tools are integrated into the organization's data management processes and utilized effectively by stakeholders.
- Data Quality Management:
- Collaborate with data stewards and technical stewards to establish data quality standards and metrics, to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across the organization.
- Reporting and Communication:
- Develop and monitor KPIs related to data quality and governance effectiveness.
- Create dashboards and reports using BI tools to communicate progress to the executive committee.
- Draft data governance policies, standards, SOPs, and training materials to support the implementation of governance practices.
- Engage with stakeholders to promote a data-driven culture and ensure alignment with governance standards.
- Compliance and Regulatory Alignment:
- Ensure data governance practices align with regulatory requirements, including NIST, SOC, and Responsible AI frameworks.
- Lead governance of records and unstructured data, ensuring compliance and effective management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum Experience
- Minimum 6 years of experience in instituting enterprise-wide data governance program, including effective use of data governance tools like Collibra, Purview, ServiceNow, IBM OP etc.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring employer sponsorship currently or in the future. CSS does not offer H-1B sponsorship for this position.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills
- Proven track record in implementing and managing data governance frameworks.
- Good Knowledge of compliance standards (NIST, SOC) and Responsible AI practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience drafting policies, standards, and SOPs, and presenting to senior leadership.
- People management experience (3+ years)
Pay Range $156,500 to $181,000
CSS’s pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law. CSS offers a competitive total compensation package, which includes a performance bonus, 401k match, healthcare coverage, PTO, and a broad range of other benefits.
