Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineering Manager/Technical Project Manager to lead our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects across multiple platforms. This role requires a strategic thinker who can coordinate with business consumers, track project health, manage risks, and solve problems efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Strong Background in Data Engineering: Leverage extensive experience in data engineering to drive innovation and efficiency.

Expertise on GCP and SQL: Utilize expertize of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and SQL to manage and optimize data infrastructure.

Problem Solving: Address and resolve technical and operational challenges that arise during project execution.

Program Ownership: Lead and manage data engineering programs, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with business goals.

Business Consumer Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between the data engineering team and business consumers to understand and meet their data needs.

Health Tracking: Monitor and report on the health of data engineering projects, ensuring they are on track and within scope.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Oversight of the End-to-End Release: Manage the entire release process, from planning to deployment, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Cross-Platform Expertise: Utilize expertise in Data Engineering (DE), Data Governance (DG), Business Intelligence (BI), and Data Science (DS) to drive project success.

Leadership in Technical Execution: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the data engineering team, ensuring best practices and high standards.

Coordinate Across Teams: Work collaboratively with other teams to resolve delivery challenges and bottlenecks.

Proven experience in data engineering and management roles.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

In-depth experience of GCP and SQL.

Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Strong understanding of data governance, business intelligence, and data science principles.
