Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Information Technology (IT) Project Manager to lead and manage our technology projects from inception to completion. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering Data Center, Network, and Cloud projects on time, within scope, and within budget. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, facilities, engineering, and vendors, to ensure that all project success criteria is accomplished.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
· Engage with team with project management expertise and confidence.
· Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and RASIC.
· Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
· Interact competently with vendors that are engaged.
· Keep project plan accurate and up to date in real-time. Closely monitor project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term deliverables.
· Monitor risks closely and clearly document mitigation strategies.
· Manage issues with urgency and document remediation plans within the project plan.
· Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
Prepare and deliver project documentation, reports, and post-project analysis
Must Have Skills:
· Proven experience working with data center projects within infrastructure; storage, backup and server moves.
· Strong understanding and history managing IT-driven projects in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to run multiple workstreams simultaneously balancing dependent technologies across Networking, Cloud and Security.
· Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results and quickly removing blockers.
· Drive consistent communication and problem-solving with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
· Quick to identify and manage risks, issue and dependencie escalating when necessary.
· Proficient in project management methodology and tools (MSTeams and MSProject).
· Experience with budget management and cost control.
Additional Skills:
· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
· Bachelor's degree in Project Management, IT, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
