Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of data center strategies.
- Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the data center, ensuring high performance and efficiency.
- Implement best practices for rack and stack, fiber installation.
- Set, gang, seismically brace/bolt cabinets.
- Install overhead ladder rack, fiber tray/trough/spillway.
- Install hot/cold aisle containment systems.
- Labeling.
- Rack & Stack.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with Operations teams to ensure seamless and efficient data center operations.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the data center team.
- Continually assess and implement opportunities for improvement within the data center.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a data center management role.
- Strong knowledge of rack and stack, fiber installation.
- Experience with fluke and versiv highly desirable.
- Proven experience in managing and coordinating the operations of a data center.
- Excellent understanding of data center procedures and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
