Data Center Engineer - AWS - 60934

We have an immediate "hands-on" opportunity for a Data Center Engineer with experience in AWS Cloud Administration. This includes a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure components (server, storage, network, security, data, and applications) to deliver end-to-end AWS cloud infrastructure solutions.

Among other duties:

• Installation, configuration, and management of Windows and RHEL servers.
• Participation in the development of the cloud migration strategy, including the selection of cloud services, and tools.
• Assessment of current infrastructure (on-premises) and help define migration approach (lift-and-shift, refactoring etc.,).
• Implementation of cloud best practices for architecture, security, networking, and disaster recovery.
• Review and optimization of the existing cloud environment for migration readiness (e.g., identifying dependencies, bottlenecks, and potential issues).

An ability to work independently as well as work well with others in an integrated team environment is essential.
