What we do:
The Group Support & Enterprise Services (GS&ES) function is dedicated to extending the Corporate Group’s ability to provide innovative, value-added solutions that help promote the Bank’s mission and strengthen its operation. As the Group’s centralized business operations partner, GS&ES focuses on four service areas: Business Support, Business Technology & Data Management, Enterprise Services and Risk Management.
Reporting directly to the Data Analytics Lead, you will work collaboratively with other leaders and stakeholders across the Bank, Federal Reserve System.
Your role Data Strategy and Analytics Specialist:
As a Business Data Architect, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary and high-performing team that advances the Bank’s strategic initiative (Simplify, Lead and Innovate) within the Corporate through the following activities:
Proactively conduct strategic technology research to identify innovative data and analytics solutions that directly address current business challenges, demonstrating a forward-thinking approach to leveraging emerging technologies for competitive advantage.
Embody an entrepreneurial spirit as a technology innovation influencer, fearlessly championing transformative ideas and driving organizational change through creative problem-solving and a passion for pushing technological boundaries.
Participate in the design, creation, validation of emerging and ongoing data products, analysis, and dashboards to guide important decisions
Influence and educate the business on the value of data management, analytics, business intelligence, data literacy and operational capabilities.
Develop intuitive dashboards and data products using Tableau or Alteryx and other business intelligence tools
Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions built in UiPath, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
Translate business requirements into technical requirements to ensure solutions meet business needs
Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements, design and implement end-to-end solutions, and investigate new technologies to improve data pipelines and ETL processes
Lead product demo sessions, develop training materials, and produce documentation
Work on multiple tasks simultaneously and produces high quality products while adhering to the Product Development Lifecycle
Take a lead role to support Data Operations efficiency covering data ingestion, quality, and support are delivered to the end user community.
Stay abreast of new business developments and data needs as well as related capabilities and technologies with counterparts and stakeholders in other RBs and across the System.
Champion processes and procedures across the organization
Collaborate with other Data teams to leverage programming languages, tools, and techniques (ML, NLP, AI) to provide viable solutions for business needs.
Promote and integrate best practices in data science and adheres to established work standards.
Ability to prepare impactful presentations and lead briefings with managers and senior stakeholders
Support business innovation by researching, analyzing, and evaluating new technologies
What we are looking for:
Experience building visualizations and dashboards to help tell a story behind the data
Data querying and analytical software skills (e.g., SQL, R, SAS, Tableau, Tableau Prep, Alteryx, Python, and Power BI)
Experience with UiPath and/or other RPA tools.
Experience learning new technology via self-learning model then subsequently training peers
Knowledge of information design principles and data visualization methods
Experience identifying process improvement opportunities and supporting data solutions
Interest in learning emerging technologies to analyze results, evaluate performance, and project future trends and needs
Demonstrated experience in large scale critical operations, ideally within a complex, mission-driven organization; focus on continuous improvement methodologies a plus.
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead multiple initiatives to drive and deliver results despite competing priorities
Demonstrated ability to organize, simplify, harmonize, and resolve ambiguity
Ability to structure and distill complex problems into easily digestible insights, solutions, and recommendations
Ability to quickly assimilate new information, handle new problem situations, and manage a variety of responsibilities simultaneously
Process design & optimization
Ability to review existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency, and determine methodologies/technologies to best execute an optimized process
Outstanding verbal and written communication and customer service skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Emotional intelligence, including the ability to build trust in a variety of relationships through candor, reliability, and authenticity as well as the capacity to embrace and draw from diversity and inclusion to improve the quality of outcomes.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, leveraging strong communication skills to align technical and business stakeholders and drive successful data analytics projects from conception to delivery.
Consistently deliver high-quality, actionable data analytics products by applying rigorous analytical methodologies, maintaining exceptional attention to detail, and translating complex data insights into clear, strategic recommendations.
Excellent change management skills, including advocating, anticipating, and orchestrating change.
Ability to satisfy the Federal Reserve System's conflict of interest requirements.
Salary Range: $160,000-$185,000 / year
