This role involves collaborating with internal business partners to develop, deliver, and maintain analytic applications and solutions to help achieve the department’s risk management goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with internal business partners to understand strategy, goals, and risk, and structure business requests into analytical projects.
- Lead complex projects to completion and provide tactical and strategic guidance to peers, especially on performance reporting.
- Use data to inform risk management practices, set benchmarks, and establish risk tolerance thresholds.
- Acquire and verify structured and unstructured data, ensuring its quality, accuracy, and reasonableness.
- Perform analyses of historical data to identify trends and insights using advanced analytical methods.
- Prepare and deliver expert visualizations and presentations that turn analytic insights into actionable solutions for business partners.
- Develop and manage recurring analytic or reporting processes.
- Expand knowledge of business and analytics, sharing insights and best practices with the team.
- Participate in special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
- Minimum of three years of related work experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Strong stakeholder management experience.
- Proficiency in Tableau (preferred) or Power BI, SQL, Python.
- Experience in risk management practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex business and risk requirements into structured data approaches.
- Experience in data visualization and presenting insights to stakeholders.
