Data Analyst
Do you enjoy evaluating data and working with others to achieve a goal? Then this role may be the right fit for you. The Data Analyst will develop reports and conduct data analyses to support teams in compliance, evaluation, quality assurance and quality improvement.
Schedule: This is a full-time, non-exempt (35 hour/week) position. We offer 4-day work week (once training is complete.) No nights or weekends.
Compensation: Starting annual salary is $60,000. Being bilingual is not a requirement for this role, but we recognize it as an asset and offer an additional 6% bilingual designation for Spanish, Haitian Creole, Russian, Vietnamese, Cantonese or Mandarin. Job Activities
Key activities of the position are below. Additional duties may be assigned as required.
Top Key Activities:
- Develop new reports and dashboards based on the needs and input of program managers
- Run routine weekly, monthly or quarterly reports
- Analyze data and provide recommendations for improvement
- Create documentation so users can understand reports and how metrics are calculated
- Develop processes and mechanisms for collecting and aggregating data for new projects or grants
Other Activities:
- Respond to ad hoc data requests
- Create presentations, charts and graphs to share data
- Follow-up with staff to complete required activities
Qualifications:
- A Bachelors' degree from an accredited school
- Experience in data analyses and/or statistical programming and be highly motivated and able to learn new analytical skills
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels
- Highly resourceful team player, with the ability to work effectively independently or as a team
- Demonstrates a willingness to take on new tasks with a general attitude that no task is too small, impossible, or cannot be improved
- Careful attention to detail
- Expertise in the following platforms: Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Pro, Zoom and other web-based applications
- Previous experience or knowledge of Aging Services Assess Point (ASAP) systems and data preferred
- Experience with SQL and Microsoft PowerBI a plus.
