About the Job
A strong commitment to the YWCA's mission and values, including racial and gender equity, and the ability to incorporate these principles into program development and community engagement.
Experience in program development, financial management, staff supervision, marketing, customer service, and event coordination.
Ability to work with a wide range of community groups, volunteers, and stakeholders to ensure that wellness services are accessible to all individuals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clear and culturally responsive communication.
CPR/First Aid/AED certified.
Must be flexible with schedule to accommodate evening program events beneficial to the organization or department
Attain Group fitness certification through a nationally recognized organization within 6 months of hire date.
Certified pool operator certification within a year.
Preferred Skills:
Lifeguard and water safety certification.
Personal trainer certification.
Bilingual candidates.
Education and Experience:
Associate's Degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in health/fitness program management, with a demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusive service delivery.
