About the Job
An established distribution company in Rancho Santa Margarita is searching for a Customer Service Rep to provide support for a variety of administrative functions. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and strong organizational skills. This is a temp-to-hire position and the hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The starting pay is $20-$22 an hour, based on experience.. Once hired, there's a competitive package of employee benefits available. Some of the responsibilities include:
- Answering telephone inquiries
- Taking orders over the phone
- Processing orders & quotes - input into the company's database system
- Assisting will call and walk-in customers
- Working with customers to set up new accounts
- Providing daily notification of customer backorders
- Working directly with billing on issues with shipments/invoices
- Working with purchasing on quotes, lead-times, and availability of products
- Communicating with drivers regularly
- Researching and resolving issues to ensure customer retention satisfaction
Customer Service Rep Qualifications:
- Previous office experience
- Retail or sales experience is a plus
- Ability to organize and maintain both paper and electronic filing systems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Computer literacy with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook / Typing 40 wpm+
- High school diploma or equivalent
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $22.00 Per Hour
