About the Job
POSITION SUMMARY:
Primary duties include initiating calls to potential clients, handling customer inquiries, promoting and selling ammunition and tracking sales orders. This position requires attention to detail and ability to maintain and organize documentation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, solicit and close new accounts, generate sales quotations, and handle customer inquiries.
- Work with team members to support client's sales activities, generate sales leads, and support other personnel in marketing programs and closing business.
- Support outside sales by entering sales orders into company software and tracking the timely shipment of orders.
- Review and analyze sales trends and communicate information to management.
- Achieve sales quotas set by management on monthly/quarterly/yearly basis.
- Other duties may be assigned based on business needs.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Firearms and Ammunition field knowledge preferred.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, weights, area, circumference, and volume.
- Knowledge of MS Office and the Windows environment, including Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Integrate knowledge of Norma Precision products, services & parts to be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Ability to work independently as well as under immediate supervision.
- Applicants with attendance issues will not be considered
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Standard office environment in a temperature-controlled office.
- Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of normal office equipment (computers, telephones, etc.)
- Type and read on a computer; communicate in person, on telephone, through written correspondence. May require standing, stooping, reaching, pushing and pulling.
