JOB DESCRIPTION:
This key position is responsible for sales coordination resulting in business growth along with managing a list of accounts (territory’).
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Manage order processes from the initial inquiry to the completed delivery of the product i.e. preparing quotes, entering orders, and coordinating shipments.
• Working closely with customers, distribution personnel, etc. to ensure that all orders are delivered accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maximize sales within the existing territory.
• Ensure accounts are purchasing all possible products, including products from other divisions; this will entail coordinating with other divisions when needed.
• Communicate with customers via telephone and email on a daily/weekly basis regarding quotes, orders, product availability, delivery times, and shipments, etc.
• Acquire knowledge of all product lines in order to expand the basket of offerings to current territory.
• Ensure existing and future customers understand the full range of products and capabilities.
• Coordinate with other entities and divisions to leverage the Company’s full offering.
• Understand customers’ business needs and requirements; secure customer profiles and organizational structure in order to build an account database for the territory.
• Leverage relationships so as to secure access to parent companies, sister divisions, subcontractors, etc. in order to maximize the full extent of customer potential including potential international opportunities.
• Prepare and analyze reports to assess potential business opportunities.
• Communicate directly with customer(s) / supplier(s) to organize shipments.
• Resolve shipping, pricing and shortage discrepancies.
Minimum Qualifications / Attributes:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting/Finance/Economics/Marketing or related field. Preferred
• Preferably, 2+ years of Customer Service/Inside Sales experience
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• People and Process Oriented
• Must have excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
• EXCELLENT organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• HIGH Attention to Detail.
• Available to travel to TN HQ for training. Ideally 2-weeks – client will work with candidates
