Responsibilities: - Position requires extensive telephone and written contact with customers and field sales representatives. Duties include order entry, pricing, stock checks, expediting customer orders, and responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner. - Quotation/pricing responses using standardized pricing routines. Special pricing demands confer with product management for assistance. Maintain quote activity file. - Stock check routines, determine product availability from current inventory, on order status and/or provide lead times for manufactured product. - Expedite open customer orders, determine status and projected ship dates, pull in – push out schedules when requested and acceptable to plant. - Provide technical assistance when competitors’ part number is given using current cross reference information or the competitor’s website. - Return material authorization, verify customer product rejection, and issue RMA. |
Desired Background/Skills: - Must have excellent communication skills – verbal and written via telephone and various written formats. - Computer familiarity is required and must have accurate data entry and math skills. - Previous experience in sales and/or customer service activities. - Must have a positive attitude and interpersonal skills. - Must have the ability to interact in an environment that is structures to “Team” participation in achieving our sales goals. - Must be able to work with deadlines. |
