Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Schedule:Mon-Fri, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Position Overview
Our customer service representatives demonstrate strong skillsets in problem-solving, organization, inventory replenishment, and communication to help provide the Sales Team of Sigma Supply with the right tools to benefit our customer base.
Responsibilities Include
- Serve customers and sales staff by providing product/service information, and by resolving product/service issues
- Maintain customer accounts
- Resolve conflicts by clarifying customer's needs, determine what caused the problem and what the solution needs to be, and explaining the resolution to the client
- Work autonomously to build relationships with assigned customers and reps
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Be able to be flexible for support for other departments
- Positive attitude and friendly demeanor in correspondence with customers
- Maintain confidentiality of company/customer proprietary information
The ideal candidate will have
- 2 years in customer service and distribution/manufacturing
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication
- Phone etiquette
- Listening
- Conflict resolution
- Documentation knowledge
- High school diploma or GED
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
- Experience in order entry, tracking, and follow-up
