Operations - Customer Service Representative
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a quality Customer Service Representatives to provide excellent customer service to our internal and external clients. In this important and highly visible position, you will be greeting clients, explaining our program requirements and creating a welcoming and hospitable environment for our visitors. You will direct clients to the appropriate personnel, provide information about Crystal Stairs events and distribute paperwork as needed. This is a fast-paced environment with a high call volume and incoming traffic so, you must maintain a calm and professional demeanor at all times.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
- High School graduate or equivalent G.E.D. is required; some college preferred.
- Two to three years customer service experience required, with experience working in a call center environment preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively and productively with diverse groups of people is a must. Bilingual English/Spanish is required
- Display a high degree of professionalism in all Customer Care operations, including but not limited to phone coverage, servicing walk-in clients, routing incoming mail, and completing special projects.
- Advanced computer skills required with proficiency in MS Office
- Must have knowledge of general office operations
- Knowledge of customer service practices and principles
- Data entry into CSI Information Technology systems
- Provide overview of agency's services to clients.
- Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls.
- Assist clients in determining their needs and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
- Receive deliveries to the agency.
- Open, date stamp and distribute all mail.
- Maintain a tidy reception area continuously throughout the day; eliminate or report all safety hazards.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
