JOB TITLE: Custodian
Availability of positions is based upon contract needs.
Announcement will close when all available positions have been filled.
Some positions require a security clearance.
Positions may be part-time or full-time, based upon contract needs.
Positions may be day shifts, or night shifts, based upon contract needs.
Note: Further competition is not required for change from part-time to full-time status, as additional full-time positions become available.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED is desired.
MANDATORY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must be physically and mentally capable of performing the requirements of the job.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to read and write the English language is highly desired.
Must be authorized for coverage under agency insurance if operating agency vehicle. One will need to have a good driving record, meet and maintain the requirements of the company's safety fleet program, and have a valid Colorado driver's license and/or required level of personal auto insurance. Must successfully complete a background check and receive favorable pre-employment drug screen results.
PREFERRED SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
Preferred candidates will possess or have the ability to obtain a department of defense security clearance.
Some positions require a security clearance.
GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cleans and keeps work sites, restrooms, and exterior areas of offices, shops, and other occupied areas in orderly condition in accordance with contract requirements. Employee must comply with all safety requirements related to the job assignment.
REFERENCES:
All janitorial tasks will be accomplished in accordance with the description of tasks listed in the contract Performance Work Statement (PWS). Additionally, all other duties will be performed as outlined in Phoenix Personnel Policies.
