About the Job
Major/Essential Functions
- Employee performs duties of Restroom Specialist : Remove objects from toilets/urinals. Picks up debris from the floor. Refill all consumable product dispensers. Empty all restroom trash/hygienic collection containers. Dust top to bottom. Disinfect sinks, mirrors, doors, and assigned fomites. Mops floor.
- Employee performs duties of Light Duty Specialist: Empties trash, Takes all trash and recycling to a collection area. Dust all assigned and accessible surfaces Spot clean doors, push plates, switch plates and drinking fountains Spot clean vertical surfaces including mirrors and glass. Cleans and stocks whiteboards/Chalkboards.
- Detail cleans assigned areas on a weekly basis.
- Employee performs duties of Vacuum Specialist: Check the wastebaskets in each office to make sure LDS did not miss any. Vacuum all traffic areas. Spot vacuum all other areas. Vacuum visible debris, crumbs, or dry spills on furniture and detail vacuum all assigned areas weekly. Reposition all furniture correctly. Turn out lights upon completion. Secure areas, Follow "Dot Program". Cleans vacuum and all tools. Fill vacuum maintenance form nightly.
- Employee performs duties of Utility Specialist: Spot clean elevator. Police stairs and vacuum stairwells. Cleanglass entrances. Pick up all trash at the assigned collection point and haul trash to dumpsters. Detail clean and spot clean carpet. Detail and spot mop Hard surface floors. Clean first impression areas. Clean high visibility carpet.
- Haul trash to dumpsters. Clean up tools and equipment.
- Assist in all floor care. Shampoo and extract carpets as needed or scheduled, effectively removing spots regularly to prevent permanent damage. Use various carpet cleaning equipment. Properly and safely operates equipment required to strip/finish hard-surface floors, following established procedures to maintain acceptable levels of finish with expected quality.
- Employee is required to wear the issued uniform which includes uniform shirt, slip-resistant safety shoes and TTU I.D, Employee must follow Management, Supervisor and or Lead instructions and all other duties asssigned by Management, Supervisor and or Lead.
