The Credit Coordinator will be responsible for providing prompt and efficient assistance to our internal and external customers, resolving inquiries, addressing concerns, and preventing financial losses.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, investigate, and resolve customer queries on accounts and shipments via e-mail or phone
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Handle administrative duties such as notarizing documents, completing customer satisfactions, license requirements, and following up on returns
- Monitor credit limits to ensure customer limits are not exceeded by reviewing Credit Holds
- Coordinate with freight carriers to resolve shipping issues and file claims for lost shipments
- Work effectively with sales, returns, and other departments to resolve customer problems and ensure smooth operations
- Posting of customer payments, balancing cash, and EFT
- Maintain assigned accounts to prevent financial losses
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of customer service or related experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms, ensuring clear and concise interactions with customers
- Ability to identify and resolve customer issues and provide appropriate solutions within time limits efficiently and effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with basic computer software and systems
- Analytical thinking with the ability to implement creative solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Business, Accounting, or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of credit management principle
