About the Job
Rosedale Federal is currently seeking a Credit Administrator to join our team in the Credit Department of Commercial Lending. Incumbent will provide administrative support to the Credit and Commercial Lending Departments to support portfolio monitoring initiatives and manage the credit analyst's workflow. Assist with ongoing portfolio monitoring including the collection of financial information and the ordering of appraisals. Provide other support as needed to ensure overall credit quality at the institution.
In this position you will:
- Provide administrative support including managing the credit work log and ensuring financial information has been collected for potential new transactions and renewals assigned to the analyst team.
- Perform initial file review for loan modifications, extensions, and renewals. Request any missing items from the commercial lending team.
- Support the credit analysts by completing spreads and obtaining credit reports.
- Support the internal loan review process. Aid in the collection of updated financial records, coordination of property site inspections, financial review, and loan covenant testing.
- Organizes and assembles electronic loan folders for new and existing customers. Responsible for ensuring data storage and destruction schedules are followed.
- Manage the appraisal process including obtaining bids from approved appraisers, preparing engagement letters, ordering appraisals and reviews, and paying invoices.
- Collect, organize and prepare information packages for external loan reviews, regulatory examinations, internal and external audits.
- Utilize key credit support systems (e.g., Baker Hill, Synergy, Pipedrive, etc.). Ensure data integrity.
- Act as a backup to the loan administration team which may include obtaining and tracking insurance certificates, organizing and filing loan documents, and updating loan system information.
- Responsible for adhering to all Bank policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Completes all assigned online or in-person Compliance, Human Resources, and Departmental training modules/classes.
What we are looking for:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Degree or some college coursework in business, real estate finance or accounting a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in Commercial Lending required. Degree or coursework in a Finance, Accounting, or similar field may be substituted for experience requirements.
WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time (50%-75% of the time)
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
