Superior Walls of Upstate New York is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating truck cranes on construction sites. Your duties will include driving cranes to worksites, setting up according to the manufacturer's operator's manual, inspecting the crane daily for safety, and operating the crane under general supervision. You should be able to lift and lower materials with precision and transport heavy equipment to worksites. To succeed in this role, you should be able to operate cranes efficiently, ensure safety standards are met, maintain the hoisting mechanisms, and work seamlessly with our certified installers and truck drivers.

- Operate the crane safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Perform daily safety inspections of the crane.
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Carry tools for on-the-spot repairs.
- Transport the crane to various job sites.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear necessary PPE.
- Maintain and clean the crane's hoisting mechanism.
- Use lever and pedal controls proficiently.
- Set up the crane in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CDL Class B license.
- CDL Class A license preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years industry experience.
- Knowledge of OSHA Regulations and ANSI Standards in crane operations.
- Proficient in oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and medical check.
- Capable of performing daily and monthly equipment inspections.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the job.
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
