This role will apply and analyze material accounting principles on processes, practices and procedures relative to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). The individual will play a central role in audit activities supporting continued approved status of NGAS Business Systems in both open and restricted environments ; this will include Material Management Accounting System (MMAS), Purchasing System, Incurred Cost, and various internal audits. They will interact with federal regulatory agencies and internal personnel while investigating and resolving regulatory compliance issues. Ensures that costs are allocated according to established procedures; works closely with Cost Estimating on Material SEEF tasks. The role is also expected to leverage subject matter expertise into training and guidance to associated stakeholders. The role is expected to lead improvement and corrective actions both in the open and restricted environments.

This individual will support Business Management accounting operations and compliance of several key business processes
