Objective
The Corporate Project Engineer will play a critical role in executing capital projects across multiple North American facilities (West Coast.) Key responsibilities include scope development, project execution, and identifying opportunities for improvement. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, while adhering to strict safety and environmental standards.
Responsibilities Capital Project Execution: Manage and oversee capital projects from inception to completion.
Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Team Leadership: Lead project teams, including contractors and consultants.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
Safety and Environmental Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize processes and reduce costs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to achieve project goals.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
8-10 years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven track record in project management, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
Strong technical skills and knowledge of engineering principles and standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel extensively (West Coast).
Experience in the chemical or refining industry is preferred.
Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, project management software).
