Corporate Paralegal, Buffalo, NY Fully on-site
The Paralegal will support attorneys by performing a variety of tasks including legal
research, document preparation, case management, and administrative duties. The ideal
candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid
understanding of legal procedures and terminology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct thorough legal research and prepare written reports, summaries, and
drafts of legal documents.
Assist with case preparation by gathering information, preparing discovery
documents, and drafting legal pleadings.
Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, discovery
requests, and responses.
Ensure all documents comply with legal procedures and requirements.
Assist in managing case files, including organizing case materials, maintaining
client records, and tracking deadlines.
Prepare and file court documents and correspondence.
Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates on case
progress, and schedule meetings. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in
all client interactions.
Prepare and file documents with courts and other government agencies. Ensure all
filings are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Stay informed about changes in laws, regulations, and procedures to ensure
compliance in all tasks and responsibilities.
Additional responsibilities specific to your assigned practice group may be
required.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field. A
bachelor's degree is preferred.
Relevant Paralegal certification (i.E. ACEBS) is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal or in a legal support role.
Work experience as a practicing paralegal in relevant practice area is preferred.
