About the Position:

Our client, a sophisticated finance-focused firm with offices across the country, is seeking an attorney to join its Chicago office as an associate. This industry-leading practice is focused on helping clients finance a broad range of asset classes, and its clients include some of the largest U.S. and foreign financial institutions, investment funds, and insurance and finance companies.

Responsibilities:

· Assist with representing clients financing transactions across a range of asset classes

· Represent insurance companies, banks, finance companies, and financial institutions in private placements

· Advise clients on secured and unsecured lending transactions, including equipment leasing

· Draft and negotiate offering documents and financing statements

· Advise clients on acquisitions of portfolios of financial assets

Required Qualifications:

· 2 to 6 years of experience with transactional, real estate, or finance law at a large or mid-size law firm, in-house law department or financing company

· Experience as debt counsel in traditional, leveraged, synthetic and/or capital lease transactions preferred

· Strong academic credentials

Location:

Chicago, IL (Hybrid flexibility)

Compensation:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $235,000 - $390,000.
