Corporate Controller - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

About the Job
Based in the San Fernando Valley, we are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Controller to oversee our company's financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the corporate accounting functions, providing financial analysis, and ensuring adherence to GAAP regulations. This position requires a strong background in accounting, exceptional analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall corporate accounting functions, including accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP regulations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely completion of all audit requirements.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance internal controls.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Utilize Acumatica and other accounting software to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred.
- Proven experience in corporate accounting or public accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP compliance requirements and general ledger accounting principles.
- Proficiency in financial analysis techniques and reporting tools.
- Experience with Acumatica or similar accounting software is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
