Corporate Controller - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

Based in the San Fernando Valley, we are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Controller to oversee our company's financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the corporate accounting functions, providing financial analysis, and ensuring adherence to GAAP regulations. This position requires a strong background in accounting, exceptional analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall corporate accounting functions, including accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP regulations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely completion of all audit requirements.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance internal controls.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team to ensure high performance and professional development.
• Utilize Acumatica and other accounting software to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred.
• Proven experience in corporate accounting or public accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP compliance requirements and general ledger accounting principles.
• Proficiency in financial analysis techniques and reporting tools.
• Experience with Acumatica or similar accounting software is highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
