Job Details
Seeking a meticulous, dynamic Corporate Controller to manage all accounting operations, financial reporting, and the establishment of internal control policies. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in US GAAP accounting and reporting, demonstrate strong leadership and communication abilities, and be adept at supporting the development and integration of a new ERP system. A significant part of this role involves spearheading ongoing process enhancement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Direct the organization's accounting and financial reporting activities, ensuring precision and adherence to GAAP standards.
Oversee the closing processes for month-end and year-end, including preparing financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
Develop and uphold internal control policies and procedures to maintain financial integrity.
Engage with various departments to aid in budgeting and forecasting efforts.
Collaborate with teams across Operations, Sales, HR, R&D, Marketing, IT, and IS for strategic financial planning.
Facilitate the design and implementation of a new ERP system, integrating it smoothly with current financial processes.
Reform and refine existing processes for improved efficiency.
Lead initiatives for continuous improvement within the accounting department.
Assess and enhance financial workflows and procedures for optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
Coordinate external audits and manage tax filings.
Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Analyze financial data and deliver timely and accurate financial reports.
Partner with senior management in strategic financial decision-making.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus.
Significant experience in a Corporate Controller role or similar, preferably in a tech company.
Extensive audit experience with a major accounting firm.
Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP principles and financial regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
