REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic skills and knowledge of specific kitchen operations relevant to the assigned duties
Possess strong communication, organization and relationship skills
Basic knife skills and understanding of relevant smallware's
Basic understanding of proper use and cleaning of kitchen equipment
Capable of producing a consistent product in a timely manner
Attention to detail in all areas of work
Strong time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
SUPERVISOR:
Chef de Cuisine and or Sous Chef
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent certificate
INTERNAL CONTACTS:
Potential for contact with employees from all areas of organization.
EXTERNAL CONTACTS:
Private and corporate citizens as well as members of county, state, and federal government, and vendors.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Needs of hospitality department dictate ability to work flexible schedule to coincide with needs of various events.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods; must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
